COMPANY
In 1956 the company launched a machine for producing women's stockings which supplied the yarn through two feeds. A few years later, Lonati perfected a double cylinder machine for producing men's socks. In 1969 the market demanded continuous expansion of industrial plants and Lonati responded by increasing the size of its factory site to 30,000 sq. metres (15,000 sq. metres of this occupied by buildings) and increasing the staff to a total of 300 workers.
